About us
Kairos Mission School is a place where Romanian (as well as students from other countries), who feel the call of the great commission, can be trained in Mission work both for evangelism inside Romania as well as transculturally.
Together with Kairos Mission Agency we train and send out missionaries all over the world. Romania is a country which has benefitted greatly from foreign missionaries bringing the gospel and now feels it is its time to be a blessing to others.
The Lord has supplied the school, so much beyond what we had expected over the last year. We now have a new building and a couple of new staff; however, the workload is great, and more help is needed. We are looking for a volunteer to come along side and help. This will be one academic year placement.
Brief Job description

We now have a new building and a couple of new staff; however, the workload is great, and more help is needed. We are looking for a volunteer to come along side and help. This will be one academic year placement.
Specific needs (We do not expect any one volunteer to do all these jobs):
- Housekeeping (Cleaning and preparing rooms for guests) *Students will clean their own rooms;
- Kitchen work (Helping with preparing meals);
- Shopping (Buying food and other supplies);
- Grounds work (helping maintain the grounds including cutting grass and weeding);
- Publicity (producing English Language publicity and photography, both video and written publicity);
- Other Secretarial works. (Typing things up, photocopying etc).
Ministry Opportunity
Although you will be working as staff you will have chances to attend some of the teaching. Nearly all teaching is in English and is done by professors from around Europe and from America. When the students go on short-term mission trips, usually a week, to countries like Moldova, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia… you will be able to come with them and get directly involved with the evangelism.
Costs
This is not a paid role and you will have to pay for your own transport to Romania, however once with us all your costs like food and internal travel with be covered and you will have free accommodation. We will also cover the costs of traveling to the short-term mission placements.
